AvX: Logan Stands Alone on Bachalo’s ‘Wolverine and the X-Men’ # 9 Cover
Because we know you don’t read any other comic book news sites, you’ll be interested to learn that Marvel has throughout the week been deploying cover artwork for Avengers Vs. X-Men the 12-issue series that the publisher calls “the biggest comic book event in history.” Written by the publisher’s “Architects” — Jason Aaron, Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction and Jonathan Hickman — and drawn by fan-favorites Olivier Coipel, Andy Kubert, and John Romita, Jr., the event will tie-in to Marvel’s main Avengers and X-Men titles, as well as the spinoff miniseries AVX: Versus.
Below you will find the entire week’s worth of AvX tie-in covers as well as your exclusive first look at the cover for Wolverine and the X-Men #9 by Chris Bachalo.

Marvel just announced a tie-in to their yearly event— this one’s called Versus.
The editors described “AvX: Versus” as the “anti-‘Front Line.’” “We just wanted more fights,” said Lowe. The first issue will contain a Magneto vs Iron Man fight by Adam Kubert and Jason Aaron, and a Namor vs Thing fight by Kathryn and Stuart Immonen. Since Natasha’s on this cover, it seems mildly likely she’ll show up at some point, but I don’t think they’ll ever be able to top her showing in Contest of Champions II, where she single-handedly took out both Wonder Man and all of X-force. Thanks, Chris Claremont!

Minimal Marvel t-shirts, by Mighty Fine, $25 each.
I absolutely adore these minimalist takes on the X-Men, especially for Rogue and Cyclops.
I want the rogue and cyclops ones.
