Damian may have been raised by assassins, but he’s also been trained by the Batman—who protects and saves the people in Gotham City. Who can Damian turn to when faced with a different kind of life in danger—one that can’t be so easily rescued by blades and fists?

Last one was a little wordy. So ill try to keep it short,

Superman and his family are pretty weak to that kryptonite. What if you had someone from the batfamily working on the super family team. They could always do recovery or assist.  I think Damian with Mr miracle disks and Mr Miracle tools could help out allot. Much like if supergirl was on the batfamily im sure clay face wouldn’t be a problem , threats would be a little easier i think. This is a stretch of course

Real reason for the redesign? I wanna see if he could still be robin in superman colors. Probably not but could be a great single issue. Also you get to Damian to wear black rimmed glasses.

My last robin redesign for a little but. I thought about it later and i should’ve done a spoiler robin , as someone suggested. :)  Thanks for coming along for the ride, The response has been awesome.

Aaaah~ An homage to Supes. I actually LOVE this idea, seeing as it would be following very closely in Dick’s footsteps when he left to find his own identity. I love the look of this, and omg, Damian in glasses? TOO CUTE <3 This was a wonderful way to end this and if there ever IS more, I’m excited to see it.

P.S. “i should’ve done a spoiler robin , as someone suggested. :)” HA HA! You’re so nice :D

So this is a predictable route for Damian. At least  in the series of designs im doing because im going in order.  Instead of explaining how he got to this version of himself. I just want to note im sad as a fan not getting to see him lead a team much like many of the robins in the past have done. Maybe A new young justice which ive seen allot of fan art for as well with constant cameos from batcow of course.

in this costume, i can see him and Tim on the roof tops of shinjuku or going through the dark alley ways of hong kong. Moving on the telephone polls like jet grind radio (favorite dream cast game)

Base for design? Well  I always wished that wing technology Tim is currently using could be compacted into something a little stealthier. Or if Tim could protrude one strand a time that would be a excellent fighting tool or a great ribbon dancer at the least.  So this jacket is based on a Kaneda jacket (Akira) or a Micheal Jackson jacket. Damian wearing a Kaneda or Micheal Jackson thriller jacket is a win in my book . Plus a light cycle bike cant hurt ether maybe with a side car for batcow as well.

i was inspired by duss’s  batcavecontest (<—clickhere)
so I DID a quick Damian Wayne doing his best night wing impression. Also at the shows i been going too, fans have been making BAD ASS night wing hoodies. So that was also in the mix when designing this

Its been a while since ive done a redesign and just cause i was  in the mood. I should have at least 3 or 4 more coming :)

Grant Morrison Answers All Your Questions About The Death Of Robin
BuzzFeed: Were you afraid of any backlash from killing off such a young character?
Grant Morrison: Well, he’s not a real kid. Anyone who feels like it’s terrible this young kid’s been killed in a comic should go out right now and help real young kids in trouble. If this motivated you and you’re worried about what happens to children who are in trouble or who have been hurt, go out and help some real people. (x)
—
I find it highly disturbing that, after claiming that it “kind of broke [his] heart” to write Damian’s death —despite the fact that neither DC nor the general fan population forced him to do anything— Morrison could show such lack of gravity toward the murder of a ten year old character. When asked a legitimate question on the expected backlash, he goes so far as to completely derail the conversation with a “real world application” that is somehow supposed excuse the brutality he obviously does not want to address. Greater suffering by “real young children” is cause for serious concern, but does not exempt him in any way from the responsibility of the horrific end to Damian’s life.
Forgive me if I’m wrong, Morrison… but part of your job is to treat the characters as if they are real, correct? Although Damian Wayne was not a corporeal figure we might have run into on the street (no matter how much we may have wanted to), this does not exonerate you from violently fridging his character for sake of driving your convoluted allegory for divorce home. Nor does readers’ distress over Damian’s death mean they cannot also be concerned for real-life children in abusive situations.
