Wonder Woman Rumor, More Plausible than Usual Coming from Bleeding Cool
Apparently, at SDCC the following exchange happened between Jill Thompson and a fan:
Jill Thompson was selling Wonder Woman prints at her booth, and emphasized that this was *her* Wonder Woman, if she ever got the chance to do the story that she wanted to do. I asked when she thought that might be, and she looked around and whispered, “Maybe sooner than you think!” Not sure if this would involve the regular Wonder Woman series (I hear she and the writer know each other), or something altogether different.
In case you didn’t know, Thompson is married to current Wonder Woman writer Brian Azzarello. Of course, this would not be Thompson’s first time drawing Wonder Woman— some of her earliest comics work was penciling George Perez’s Post-Crisis run!
